Åsa Persson

Åsa Persson (Swedish) is Chair of the Swedish Climate Policy Council and Associate Professor and researcher at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology’s Climate Action Centre.

Her work focuses on climate governance, sustainability transitions and policy coherence. She previously served as Research Director and Deputy Director at the Stockholm Environment Institute and is a member of the UN Committee for Development. She holds a PhD in Human Geography from the London School of Economics. Her research and advisory work support national and international climate policy development.
