Annela Anger-Kraavi

Annela Anger-Kraavi (Estonian) leads the Climate Change Policy Group at the University of Cambridge and is Visiting Professor at the University of Tartu.

She has over 20 years of experience in research and advising governments, UN bodies and the EU. Her research focuses on environmental and socioeconomic impacts of climate change policies, fostering collaboration between industry, academia and policymakers.

Her career includes senior academic and advisory roles at Cambridge, the University of East Anglia and the Estonian Ministry of the Environment, as well as leadership positions within the UNFCCC, where she served as Vice-Chair of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) and Co-Chair of the Katowice Committee. She is Chief Executive of the Cambridge Trust for New Thinking in Economics and a member of the Club of Rome (Estonia).
